Meet the SRCH Team
Dr. Nicole Baran BSc, DVM
Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Dr. Nicole enjoys living in Northern Ontario and is happy to offer feline care in Sudbury.
Dr. Nicole received her BSc in Biology at Lakehead University before completing her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph in 2008.

Dr. Nicole has a special interest in feline dentistry, internal medicine, nutrition, wildlife & turtle shell repair. She enjoys a loving home with her husband, Jeffrey, many felines and a clever lab named Tesla.

Karen, BA, RVT - Head Technician
​
Karen graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Northern College in the spring of 2008, and received her RVT status. She decided to pursue this career path after the passing of her childhood dog, Fluffy, a very senior Bichon Frise with whom she shared a special bond.
During her years working as a vet tech, her love for felines continued to deepen and she would rush to be the tech available for any cat appointments. She was eager to work at a cat hospital where she could work with cats full time.
She joined SRCH in 2016, and has become an indispensable part of the team.
