Dr. Nicole Baran BSc, DVM
Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Dr. Nicole enjoys living in Northern Ontario and is happy to offer feline care in Sudbury.
Dr. Nicole received her BSc in Biology at Lakehead University before completing her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph in 2008.

Dr. Nicole has a special interest in feline dentistry, internal medicine, nutrition, wildlife & turtle shell repair. She enjoys a loving home with her husband, Jeffrey, many felines and a clever lab named Tesla.

A friendly face at the front desk, who brings compassion, patience, and warmth to every interaction and who enjoys helping both cats and their humans feel supported and at ease. At home, she’s a proud mom to two kids and three dogs. Caring for both animals and families comes naturally to her, and she deeply understands the bond people share with their pets. She takes pride in being a steady, reassuring presence, helping pet parents feel supported while making sure every cat feels safe, respected and loved throughout their visit.

Jeffrey - Hospital Attendant & IT Support​

​After a career in the military and another as a computer Engineer, Jeffrey is now living out his dream (after reading All Creatures Great and Small, by James Herriot) of working in a veterinary hospital with his best friend & wife.
​
Outside of work, Jeffrey enjoys playing frisbee and tug-of-war with their lab, Tesla, and loving and caring for the other animals in their home.
